The Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development Friday presented its latest report on recent progress on reforming the international tax framework to world leaders gathering in New Delhi, India.
India is hosting the Group of Countries leaders’ summit, which runs through Sunday.
The 28-page OECD report includes the outcome statement approved last July by 138 OECD and non-OECD countries setting out a plan for a two-pillar solution for tax challenges arising from digitalization of the economy. It includes an updated roadmap on developing countries and international taxation.
The report also includes sections on OECD work on indirect tax, tax transparency, tax and crime, tax policy and climate change, among other subjects.
